Please read the following information before proceed to register a user account:

1. If you decide to purchase digital map products for personal use, you should register as an Individual User. On the other hand, if you decide to purchase the digital map products for company/organization use, please register as an Advanced User of Company Account. The Licence is granted to the user (i.e. Individual User or Company User) according to your registration. Please note the Licence granted is non-transferable. For details, please refer to the "Licence Agreement for Using Government Digital Map".

2. Company Advanced User can create Company Ordinary User Account, confirm order, approve the order of digital map product submitted by Ordinary User as well as settle the order payment.

3. Company Ordinary User can draft the digital map order and submit to Company Advanced User for approval, confirm paper map order and commit its payment.

You are going to provide your personal data to the Lands Department for the registration of a user account with the Hong Kong Map Service 2.0 (HKMS 2.0). In case you are not the data subject, you should obtain his/her consent to the provision of such data before you continue with the registration.

The personal data collected are used only for the purposes directly related to facilitating the on-line purchase of the products and product delivery by the users through HKMS 2.0. The information is essential for us to be able to identify accurately who is using the service. Without such data we may be unable to provide the service or respond to your requests.

Unless permitted or required by law, we will not disclose your personal data to any third parties without your prior consent. This is however without prejudice to our rights to disclose your personal information to other government departments or appropriate third parties if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary:
