"e‐HongKongGuide" 2025 July edition published
The "e-HongKongGuide" 2025 July edition is now available on the LandsD's website for public viewing and free download. In the July edition, the "Cycling in Hong Kong" interactive storytelling map, detailed maps of Hong Kong in A3/A4 sizes as well as gazetteers of street and place names are updated up to June 2025.
The maps, in GeoPDF format, can be read on desktop computers and applications on mobile devices offline. Users can easily locate their positions on the "e-HongKongGuide" maps using free map applications with satellite positioning functions. Button links are provided on the maps for easy browsing on desktop computers and mobile device applications. Maps in A3/A4 sizes can also be printed out.
New edition of Sheet 3 – Sheung Shui & Fanling, Sheet 5 – Castle Peak, Sheet 8 – Sai Kung Peninsula, Sheet 9 – Tung Chung and Sheet 11 – Hong Kong Island and Kowloon (2025), are available for sale
HM20C is a topographic map series at a scale of 1:20,000 and is published in the form of printed map. To enhance the updateness of the map information, the HM20C series will be gradually provided through print-on-demand. The updating cycle of print-on-demand map sheets will be shortened to one year and are available for sale at HK$61.
